I just spent my holiday money on a Model16 to go together with my MPC. Checked out all the other options, like the Zoom Livetrack, Mackie Onyx, Soundcraft and Presonus multitrack mixers, but reading through all the specs and manuals, the Tascam kept standing out above all if it comes to routing and connectivity options. And now I stumble into this. Very cool to see how you route your synths. Haven't thought about it myself routing the auxes throught external effects, so I learned something new today. I am a bit late to reply I see, but I am finally starting to have my DAWless setup lifted to a more serious level now. These kind of videos are very inspiring. Very well done, very cool video. Thanks.

That sounds great. I hope they release the oscillator 1 as a module. If I was still playing wind synth in a band I'd definitely get that.

had a yamaha psr keyboard with that same jack problem. I wanted to get an omnichord to connect with other gear until I saw the current price. Then i heard what they originally sold for and was left with a bad taste in my mouth. taking piano lessons instead. overall, i guess thats positive.

It would be highly appreciated, there is a lot basic vst/synth sampling tuts but zero advanced ones with multiple layers and velocity etc. Cheers

The pioneer squid is amazing i have 16 ipad amazing apps connected and its insane. Evrything with just a usb cable and totally mobile. Its very intuitive and creative

Old slicer had a option to turn on effect only while pressed. Does this onde have it as well?

I'm sure someone had told you by now but that trimming method is just for quick and dirty, you can trim more precisely for serious work in the sound menu with the plus and minus.. you know that by now right? Maybe you should put a disclaimer in so people won't think they have to trim annoyingly..

Brilliant bit of kit! I think a Zoia Euroburo would make a phenomenal pairing with this, to make up for VL's limited effect section and add some more voicing. The combo would probably be the only modules I'd ever need if I ever take the plunge into Eurorack.

Do the function generators go into audio range?

The only thing you can really compare it to is some of the work by Analogue Solutions. But Pittsburgh’s circuits are always 5-10 years ahead of the curve, if not more. I have the smaller module they made based upon center clipping (Flamingo), and it’s genius. Never been done before in an analog synth. I use it for generating harmonics with any sound source. You can pass any sound source through this system. Guitar, bass, vocal, anything.

oh man they've done it this time, I'm not sure everyone grasps the monstrocity of this achievement by Pittsburg Modular. In the 10 years that I have been doing Modular this is a true Milestone in analogue synthesis. As if the Taiga wasnt enough, Im gonna have to get this one also.
